Interactive VJ Tool a.k.a. Pink Dragon soaring the White Sky
-
A slow build up of a visual narrative: “The Pink Dragon floating in the White Sky.”
Created a storyboard to match the narrative, but it was played live nothing predetermined. The expressions are in real-time along with the music.
It is a play of creativity in rigidity. The story tells of the actions to be creative within rules. Through only grids, graphs, and sin waves we are able slowly build it into a creation story of the dances in the sky.

Creating Brand Value & Product through Visual Complexity

Role: Creator (Designed, Coded, Directed, Edited, Choreographed)
Experimenting with creating perception of product through communication of emotions when spatial language can be easily manipulated with a Kinect sensor.

Hazing through Kinetic Visualization
Featured Motion Graphic on Behance Gallery (2013) -
A study and execution of visual research. The main concept was to examine the role of visuals in the scale of depth and its effects on the state telepresence from the S-O-R model for the best consumer outcomes.
I believed a simplistic style can become a valuable product in itself only with the addition of depth. As depth brings different modes of communication into play, a mere reflection of pixels with depth no longer becomes a simple simulation of what the computer sees from a camera, but an artistic and branded product in which the public can engage by feeling telepresence with the piece.
Using a Kinect Sensor and coding a visual style with Processing. I created a live motion graphic style. In which point I recorded choreographed postures and movements to be later edited as a finished product.
Gestural Behavior for a Symphony of Drawing
-
An idea of translating gestural movements to an artistic expression. While technique in art is one of the values for good expression, it is not the sole virtue. Beautiful art stems from many different values: composition, storytelling, expressive technique and more. If impressionism was a tool to fight realism and bring more emotions to paintings. Gestural drawing is a means to express art through bodily symphonies.
